I developed a full-stack and from-scratch inventory system for a pool service company to meet their unique business needs and processes. Features of the system included:
• A web-based system to manage products, categories, pricing, and stock.
• A checkout-style kiosk for employees to take items from the warehouse to their work vehicles.
• Printable labels attached to all the shelves and bins in the warehouse with QR codes that interact with the kiosk and handheld tablets.
• The ability to "stage" items for employees and prompt them to take these items before they leave the warehouse.
• A system to track items brought in for repairs, which included auto-printing tags, and tools to keep track of the item through the repair process.
• A system to record orders places from suppliers and keep track of these orders until they arrive to the warehouse and are added to inventory.
